The Intersection of Mechanical Engineering, Business, Project Management, Robotics, and AI.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the great fortune to be able to follow my passions. Early on, I was enthralled by the challenges in the field of Mechanical Engineering and working in the Aerospace Industry for Lockheed Martin. During my 10 year career at Lockheed Martin I achieved the title of Principal Engineer. After I finished my MBA at Carnegie Mellon, it was time to get hands-on business experience and I was able to release two products: a custom shoes kit and Blue Phoenix: PREMIUM Vietnamese rice wine. To get back into engineering, I worked at at startup called Frontier Bio and helped design a bioprinter for 3D tissues manufacturing. After earning a Certificate in Technical Project Management from U.C. Berkeley, I worked as a TPM for Lucid Motors on an amazing EV SUV called Gravity. In 2025, I completed a 6-month Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (ML & AI) professional certification at UC Berkeley. In my time away from work, I am a dedicated father and husband and am working on alcoholic beverages: Blue Phoenix Vietnamese rice wine, Eutopia sparkling mochi sake, and Mot-Hai-Ba-Yo Vietnamese flavored rice wine!
I worked directly under Matt for about a year at Frontier Bio. He is a creative thinker, a rigorous engineer, and effective leader. We worked on multiple projects and designs together, which he always clearly outlined and delivered on quickly, all the while teaching me engineering and design practices. On top of all that he is a pleasure to be around both in and out of the office.
Matt was a great co-worker at Lockheed Martin. He was always accountable for his work, putting in many hours to make sure things were done with attention to detail. His co-workers were impressed with the speed at which he worked and learned.
